The UC San Diego Design Lab is looking for research interns to join us in person in San Diego (in our newly built Design and innovation Building (DIB) or across the campus hosted in one of UCSD’s Department) or virtually for the summer of 2023 to conduct novel research across the spectrum of human-centered design.
The internship period is somewhat flexible, but due to the UC’s quarter system, we typically host internships between mid June and mid Sept.
Research topics are centered around multiple domains such as cognitive science, social science, human-computer interaction, computer science, electrical engineering, public health, visual arts, urban studies, communication.
Design Lab Summer Research Interns will have the opportunity to interact with a number of faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and other interns in professional and social gathering throughout the summer, and will be offered a number of opportunities to learn specific skills related to human-centered design an research.
